Christmas special on Disney

MANILA, Philippines - For just one day, Phineas & Ferb are abandoning summer to celebrate the Holiday Season in Phineas & Ferb’s Christmas Vacation on Dec. 25 at 10:30 a.m.

In the special, it’s Christmas Eve and an excited Phineas and Ferb are working to turn the city of Danville into a giant shimmering thank you card for Santa Claus. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz develops a naughty-inator, and suddenly the tri-state area is clouded in naughtiness and kids’ letters to Santa are returned unanswered. Two of Santa’s British elves arrive to investigate, but Phineas and Ferb must quickly devise a way to spread holiday cheer, all while Mom and Dad go to the airport to fetch Grandpa and Grandma Fletcher who’ve just arrived from England. Meanwhile, Candace tries in a not so covert way, to figure out what’s on Jeremy’s Christmas wish list.

Creators Povenmire and Marsh says, “We’re thrilled about the multi-platform premiere of Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation because it gives us the opportunity to share our own Christmas story with so many.” They continued, “The episode has some of our best musical numbers, lots of holiday themes, and like those Christmas classics we grew up with, Phineas and Ferb have to overcome some pretty big obstacles to save Christmas. That’s really the underlying theme of the special — as well as the series — that if you set your mind to something, especially with the help of your friends and family, you can accomplish anything.”

Meanwhile, the most lovable alien is back on TV with the series premiere of Stitch on Dec. 19, 3 p.m.

After leaving Hawaii for a mission in space, Stitch has to make an emergency landing while escaping Professor Jumba and his minions. Set in an exotic island paradise, Stitch meets a brave little girl named Yuna and discovers a local legend — the Spiritual Stone — which will grant him any wish as long as he completes 43 good deeds!

Will he be able to fulfill the condition and get what he wishes for? Stay tuned to Disney Channel to find out.
