A celebration of Madonna's music

MANILA, Philippines - Madonna, who has racked up a record of 37 Top 10 hits and seven No. 1 albums (including her last four) on the Billboard Pop Charts, has given her fans another opportunity to “celebrate” her musical achievements.  Warner Bros. Records has released Celebration, the ultimate compilation of Madonna songs. 

Songs have been remastered and selected by Madonna and her fans. They cover Madonna’s extraordinary career of hits including Everybody, Express Yourself, Vogue and 4 Minutes.

Celebration is out in a two-CD set and single CD. There is also a Celebration DVD released simultaneously which includes the video visionary’s best videos including several that have never before been available on DVD.

Celebration also includes two new songs recently recorded in New York City. The first single, also titled Celebration, produced by Madonna and Paul Oakenfold, has also been released.

A video for the single, also included on the Celebration DVD was filmed in Milan and directed by long-time Madonna collaborator Jonas (Ray of Light) Akerlund. The cover for Celebration was created by street pop artist Mr. Brainwash, best known for “throwing modern cultural icons into a blender and turning it up to 11.”

Madonna has over 12 No. 1 singles and a record-smashing 39 No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Songs Chart — by far the most of any artist in the over 30-year history of the list.
