MANILA, Philippines – Pinoy Fear Factor winner Jommy Teotico is likely to be one of the best-known residents of Avida Settings Cavite once his home in the spacious subdivision is completed. The 25-year-old commercial model recently competed with 11 other contestants in the reality show that pushed him to the limits of his physical and emotional capabilities and won a P2.9-M house-and-lot in Cavite developed by the Ayala Land subsidiary along with P2-M cash as grand prizes.
Now a celebrity, thanks to his Pinoy Fear Factor exposure, Jommy excels in his people skills. His easy-going personality worked for him, he says, in the ready-to-wear business and car-trading venture he set up after college. These days, he is also preoccupied with an events management company he put up with friends. More significantly, he is embarking on a new career as a media talent beginning with ABS-CBN’s George & Cecil starring Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo.
The youngest of three children, Jommy will ask his parents Emmy and Marciano, both entrepreneurs, to live in his three-bedroom Avida Settings unit which will be completed by the end of the year. His mother has always wanted a garden which their home in Dimasalang, Manila could not accommodate. His family will also have the option of spending the holidays in the subdivision where early mornings are often nippy at that time of the year.
When Jommy’s commitments may not allow him to enjoy the fresh and unspoiled environment of Avida Settings as much as he would want to, he can take comfort in the fact that his parents will have everything they need there including security personnel on duty round the clock.
He feels blessed to own a home developed by an Ayala land subsidiary and which has a track record for increasing in value over the years. Jommy knows he will enjoy the community which has a close-to-nature feel but is at the same time only a short drive away from the Alabang Town Center and other commercial centers that offer shopping, good dining and chill-out activities. Jommy has much to look forward to, not only in his family life, but also his career.
