Sid Lucero comes from showbiz royalty — the Eigenmanns. Showbiz runs in his blood and his name Sid Lucero comes from his dad’s (Mark Gil) character in the movie Batch 81. Sid has etched a name for himself as one of the most credible and intelligent actors of his generation. He appears in Astig, a Cinemalaya finalist directed by GB Sampedro where he plays Baste, an overly protective brother to his six siblings. I would like our government give more support to the arts. Their lack of support is keeping us unseen.

I’m in my beach surfing, if not I’d most probably be doing a movie.

They say that living itself is a prayer, that communication with God doesn’t end with an Amen. I just say what I want to say no matter what I’m doing, as if I am talking to my best friend.

I’d say, I really like you...you’re cool, as casually as possible.

I don’t know much about perfumes. I’d be whatever Monica Bellucci uses.

I’m a big fan of Michel Gondry. I love how most of his movies are greatly influenced by the concept of dreams. He has a very childish approach. His sets are usually cardboard cut-outs. Very playful. I love all his works.

Who is the one person you share your personal problems with?

It depends. Mostly my parents. If it’s not that heavy, my friends. If I have problems with both... my girlfriend.

I’m having a blast in a party with the closest people in my life...everyone I ever loved.
