MANILA, Philippines - Michelle Clobes, 18; Leo Lorenz Tumlos, 19; and Ma. Leonor Valentino, seven are not household names yet. Their faces are not familiar but something in their photos catches everyone’s attention. The three now carry the title as Tronix Image Models 2009.
“The Tronix Image Model is a search for the best male and female faces which can best represent what a remarkable photo is. Among the thousands of entries that we screened, Michelle and Leo’s photos stood out. Their faces will be featured in display materials found in all Tronix outlets in malls within Metro Manila and major cities in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao,” said Adelaida Jumarito, operations manager of Innovatronix, Inc.
Winners were selected during a screening from October 2008 to January 2009. Criteria included appeal, projection, expression and confidence. The winners were determined last Feb. 4 and awarded last March 17 at the Innovatronix main office.
Michelle likes to play computer and video games. She got her photo taken at Tronix SM San Lazaro outlet. Leo loves to play basketball and the guitar. He got his photo taken at Tronix Festival Supermall branch. Ma. Leonor hails from Makati City and got her photo taken at Tronix Makati Cinema Square. She’s a Grade One pupil at St. Lucy Preschool.
The Customer’s Choice were 16-year-old Grace Mitchelle Enrile of Sampaloc, Manila; Carl John Miranda, 18 of Angeles City; and Danice Lianiel Diaz, seven, of Malasique, Pangasinan.
Winners received P20,000 cash, a plaque, a Canon Inkjet printer a Picture-to-Real Oil Painting courtesy of Tronix Imaging Center and gift certificates. The Customers’ Choice received P5,000 cash and gift certificates.
“More than the prizes, the winners’ faces will now grace all the Tronix outlets nationwide. This could be the start of their modeling or acting career. It just shows that a single photograph can pave the way for a brighter future,” said Jumarito.
