Imelda in America airing on LA 18

MANILA, Philippines - Imelda Papin (photo) hosts a weekly TV show titled Imelda Papin in America which started airing on LA 18 on Valentine’s Day (yesterday). It will be aired at 4 p.m. every second Saturday of the month.

It’s a good start in this Year of the Ox for the Hall of Fame awardee who had a successful concert last Jan. 24 at the Cache Creek Casino Resort in Brooks, Northern California. Imelda is a regular performer at the prestigious Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. She’s the only Filipino artist included in the hotel’s roster of international entertainers including Engelbert Humperdinck, Neil Sedaka, Gladys Knight, Kenny G, Air Supply, Kenny Rogers, Paul Anka and Boys II Men, among others. Aside for her sold-out concerts in the said venue, she has been the main feature in its holiday special in the past two years.

Her latest CD called Voice of the Heart has just been released. It was recorded under 618 International Records, a division of 618 International Entertainment, Inc. and released by the Warner Music Group (ADA) distributed in Canada and the US. The CD is available at all Border Bookstores, Barnes and Noble Bookstores, Zia Record Exchange, Amazon.com, itunes and at 618 International Entertainment, Inc.

Also keeping her busy is her radio program called The Imelda Papin Voice of the Heart Show aired every Sunday on KLAV 1230 AM radio and will be extended to two hours starting Feb. 15, 2 to 4 p.m. It can also be heard on-line at www.klav-1230am.com.
