Christmas movies on Hallmark

12 Days of Christmas Eve which airs Dec. 6 is about a workaholic businessman who needs to achieve the best Christmas ever in 12 days.

To find out what’s worth watching this season, audiences turn to Hallmark Channel for the very best in Christmas entertainment. This year is no exception with two brand new films and a string of movies every Saturday of the month, all guaranteed to get you high on holiday cheer.

In Road to Christmas, premiering Dec. 24, 9 p.m., fashion photographer Claire Larabee finds herself stranded in Chicago on the way to her dream wedding in Aspen, Colorado. When Wes Pullman and his daughter give her a ride, none of them realize that their journey is just the beginning of something that will change their lives.

For Bert Riley, a former movie tough guy, life has been pretty good and no longer has surprises it can throw at him. That’s until he finds out that the 10-year-old granddaughter he has never met in moving in with him. A moving and heart-warming story, Grandpa for Christmas which airs Dec. 25, 9 p.m. is about forgiveness, where to understand one’s past, one must first face it.

Catch a great film Saturday nights at 9 on the Hallmark starting with 12 Days of Christmas Eve on Dec. 6 where a workaholic businessman needs to achieve “the best Christmas ever” in 12 days or never see another Christmas again. Join career militarist Cody Cullen as he journeys to a small California town to meet the Christmas Card sender who touched his life on Dec. 13.

In All I Want for Christmas, premiering on Dec. 20, all Jesse wants is a dad and he’s willing to work very hard to make his wish come true. On Dec. 27, rising defense attorney James White finds out that pretending to be someone else is definitely not the way to impress a future father-in-law in Winter White (a.k.a. What I Did for Love).

Also this month, stay tuned for the ASCAP Award’s Top TV Series 2008 — Army Wives S1, every Thursday at 9 p.m. (from Dec. 11). From the creative team behind Grey’s Anatomy and Criminal Minds comes an ensemble drama on the struggles and relationships of a group of women and one man living within an active army post. Mackensize Allen weighs her options on how to deal with a situation in Africa when she learns that genocide is taking place in the Commander In Chief Finale tonight at 9.
