Love that knows no bounds

As I have written last week, love and respect for the things around us make a big difference. Making decisions, such as turning vegetarian can greatly contribute to better living, not just environmentally, but physically as well.

I have to admit this decision I’ve made is not very easy. I literally have to take small steps towards it.

It’s mentally and physically very challenging to keep up this lifestyle.

However, I feel much better every day, knowing that I’m making a difference by making this choice and sticking to it. It has been almost three weeks since I’ve taken out meat in my meals, and I’ve been talking to Chin-Chin Gutierrez as well.

I’ve only worked with her a few times and have had a couple of conversations with her regarding her beliefs.

The moment she found out I was interested in becoming a vegetarian, she automatically gave me tips so it won’t be so hard for me to get started.

She has been a vegetarian for almost 10 years now, and has gotten very used to this way of living.

Besides getting healthier, Chin-Chin actually remains very fit with this vegetable diet that she’s on.

I was very hesitant to call her last week to ask her where I can purchase vegetarian goods, so I just sent her a text message instead.

She called me back right away and had a long talk with me on how to cook and where to get the best vegetarian goods.

I felt at ease that she was, in fact, very nice about it and seemed interested in helping me through this.

Anything is possible when we remain focused and know exactly what we want to get done.

Loving and accepting the downside of everything we become a part of a more pleasant environment with less stress.

Love comes in many different forms and can be expressed in many ways.

Unconditional love is the only thing that can be defined as "never-ending." Once we develop unconditional love for someone or something, everything else follows.

Unconditional means "no conditions" and holds "no anger" no matter what the situation is. To become successful, especially in this type of business I’m in, unconditional love must be present.

Embracing all the ups and downs and making the most of everything make it much easier.

It may take years to develop such acceptance. The only unconditional love I can confidently say I have is my love for "life" itself and my siblings.

I realized this just the other night after reading what I wrote on the things I want to happen that turned into a long wish list for someone I truly love.

These were thoughts that just had to be put on paper, while I was hoping that someday his precious eyes can read them.

This is what unconditional love means to me.

I only dream to speak to him

to understand him

to know what’s in his mind.

The innocence of an angel

Understand what he feels

This happiness that overflows

The sorrow that doesn’t show

I want to be there during the darkest hours

I want to know if he hears me

If he understands me

My unconditional love for him

I wish for him to feel

The pains and joys I want to share

My meaning to life

The difference he makes

My meaning to all this hard work

I wish for him to see

See the sun

The clouds

The moon

And the stars up in the sky

The dog that barks endlessly

My cat that he hates

I wish for him to see

Love is what holds us together

His laughter gives me hope

His sadness brings me to reality

His tears, the most painful thing to see

A never-ending pain that can never be explained

An angel sent from above he is

The most precious and beautiful gift God has given us

I only pray for his happiness

And for me to protect him

Be more than able to help my family

And everyone else around me.

These are some of the things I define love with.
