Blue Moon, Maximo among top Golden Screen bets

Blue Moon, La Visa Loca, Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros and Ilusyon got the most number of nominations in the Third Golden Screen Awards of the Entertainment Press Society (ENPRESS).

Blue Moon
directed by Joel Lamangan received 12 nominations that include Best Motion Picture-Drama, Best Actor (Eddie Garcia), Best Actress (Jennylyn Mercado), Best Supporting Actor (Dennis Trillo), Best Supporting Actress (Boots Anson-Roa) and Best Director.

La Visa Loca
of Mark Meily got seven nominations that include Best Motion Picture-Musical or Comedy, Best Actor (Robin Padilla) and Best Actress (Rufa Mae Quinto).

Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros
directed by Auraeus Solito and Ilusyon directed by Paolo Villaluna received nine nominations each. These include Best Director, Breakthrough Performance by an Actor (Nathan Lopez) and Best Supporting Actor (Soliman Cruz and Ping Medina) for Maximo, while nominations for Best Actor (Yul Servo) and Breakthrough Performance by an Actress (Jaycee Parker) are for Ilusyon.

ENPRESS chose award-winning actor-writer-director Mario O’Hara as recipient of Lino Brocka Lifetime Achievement Award. The venue and date of awards night will be announced soon.
