The Sexbomb Girls’ hits compiled

Phenomenal. No other word can describe the success of the Sexbomb Girls since they released their first hit Bakit Papa. After infecting the country with the catchy hooks Laban-laban o bawi bawi and Get get awww!, nothing – not even controversies and intrigues — can stop Sexbomb from creating explosive hits through the years.

Recently, BMG Records released the group’s first retrospective album Sumayaw Sumunod: The Best of Sexbomb Girls. This package is a collection of songs taken from their multi-platinum albums Unang Putok, Round 2 and Bomb Thr3at. It includes all the hits that made Sexbomb Girls a household name such as Spageti Song, Pretty Little Baby, Di Na Mapipigilan, Ang Gusto Namin, Loveless, Halukay Ube, Tong Song, and Amoy ng Papa.

Sumayaw Sumunod: The Best of Sexbomb Girls
also features two new recordings, their versions of the 70s hits Sumayaw, Sumunod and Awitin Mo at Isasayaw Ko infused with the signature Sexbomb touch.

The release of the new album also celebrates the introduction of Che-che Tolentino as the new Sexbomb Girl to join Rochelle Pangilinan, Jopay Paguia, Izzy Trazona, Evette Pabalan and Weng Ibarra. Che-che is not new to Sexbomb, having been a member of the also popular Sexbomb’s dancers group.

"I feel honored and thankful to be chosen as the new member of the Sexbomb singers," Che-che said. "I know a lot is expected of me but I take it all as a challenge."

Three years ago, who would have though these girls can sing and create strings of hits kids and adults would hum and dance to?

Sexbomb Girls have been the country’s most awarded girl-group, having won recognition from respected award winning bodies and their albums reaching as high as quintuple platinum. Many groups have tried to imitate them or their songs but failed.

Sumayaw, Sumunod: The Best of Sexbomb Girls
