He is seen regularly on Studio 23s Breakfast, Cinema Ones Review Night and on ABS-CBNs DepEd and National Youth Commission endorsed program Y Speak.
"Im happy that in my programs, I dont only offer quality entertainment but also valuable information and an attempt at education which is very vital for the youth," says Ryan.
Last year also saw Ryan venturing into full-time television acting via the Super-Serye Krystala as the love interest of Judy Ann Santos. Their chemistry on and off camera is evident and they have remained very good friends.
"My relationship with Juday has become so naturally comfortable that I can open up to her freely as much as she can to me. Ours is a no-showbiz friendship. What we feel for each other goes beyond work and Id rather keep that private," Ryan intimates. So proud of his co-star, Ryan has been very cooperative with the production staff despite his hectic schedules. He explains, "If Judy Ann, who has her a killer schedule everyday does not complain, why should I?"
For 2005, Ryan wants to do a sitcom. "Juday and I have been talking about being together in a comedy project. It may be a good diversion for her to do comedy on TV after acting in a string of soaps, dont you think? Im more comfortable delivering punchlines and cracking jokes than engaging in heavy crying sequences."
Acting in films is a possibility for Ryan, but directing short films appeals more to him. "The future of the film industry lies in the passion and creativity of young filmmakers. Im just waiting for the right material and with DV POST, my production house, I would want to venture into doing short films and even an experimental TV program."
