Those girls, Badj and Kayen (whom I thought were just after my pink boots!) are actually web and wireless producers from ABS-CBN Interactive Inc., an ABS-CBN subsidiary that provides web and wireless applications. They explained the concept of SweeTalk during our second meeting. A talk show with moi, the Universal Sweet as host? With TV, radio, and print ads? Ano ba! This is a dream come true, so without batting an eyelash, I said yes! This is it!
Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to have my own commercial on TV, print, and radio. And I remember saying in past interviews that I would die holding the first product I will endorse – whether it’s a suka, patis, toyo or any of those Chinese food chains. But this time, when I die, I will be holding my cell phone with a SweeTalk logo.
I’m so thankful ABS-CBN Interactive people gave their trust and confidence to me. That’s why I work hard talaga with them. From conceptualization to brainstorming to TVC shoot, to sweet updates, recording and pictorial, I gave them my all.
