Maxene: Showbiz is in her genes

Maxene Magalona is one of the stars of Anghel Sa Lupa, Regal Films pre-Christmas offering. The movie, directed by Joey Reyes stars Dina Bonnevie, Alwyn Uytingco, Cogie Domingo and Paolo Ballesteros.

Maxene has blossomed into a beautiful young lady. She has already starred in various movies like Bahay Ni Lola and Singsing Ni Lola. She is currently part of the TV sitcom Daddy Di Do Du with Vic and Danica Sotto aired on GMA 7.

Being born to famous parents, rapper-host Francis Magalona and former model Pia Arroyo doesn’t seem to pressure the young lady. She says, "I’m just having fun. Show business is one of the many things I enjoy." Is she enjoying the company of someone special in her life right now? "I’m too young to have a boyfriend! And besides, I’m also studying! I won’t have time for that!" exclaims Maxene.

Anghel Sa Lupa
under Regal Entertainment, opens Dec. 4.
