CEBU, Philippines - Close to P20,000 in cash prize is at stake for the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA)-Cebu Chapter Invitational Chess Team Tournament, which will kick off tomorrow at the Metamorfose area of J Centre Mall along A.S. Fortuna Street in Mandaue City.
Each team shall be composed of four players and one reserved player.
The organizers are requiring just one player who is a CPA plus another female member per team.
Registration fee is pegged at P1,500 per team.
The champion will take home P10,000, while the second and third placers will pocket P5,000 and P3,000, respectively.- (FREEMAN)
