Suzuki-BMR Racing Team shines in Dumaguete City

CEBU, Philippines - Cebu-based Suzuki-BMR Racing Team collected several honors in the second leg of the 2012 Petron 4T Sprint Grand Prix held over the weekend in Dumaguete City.

Mario Borbon made up for his absence in the first leg by winning the second leg’s 130 cc open category.

Borbon also came up with a second place finish in the automatic open as teammates Paul Mencias and Jeffrey Tuico wound up fourth and fifth respectively.

BMR’s riding team coach, Bobby Mencias, also joined the automatic open action, but decided not to finish the second heat for some personal reasons.

John Louis Chan sealed Suzuki-BMR’s bid with a champion’s trophy in the 125cc stock grand prix battle.

Team Suzuki BMR’s Bobby Mencias dedicates their latest victory to Suzuki Philippines, FDR Tires, SpecV of Charlie Ong, HJC Helmets, NCX Racing of Norving Comendador and MS MotoSuit Lou Ornopia for their support to the team.

Suzuki BMR is set to see action in the 2012 RUGP’s third leg tomorrow at the Sugbo Building grounds at the South Road Properties here.  - THE FREEMAN
