CEBU, Philippines - Cebuano futsal enthusiasts gear up for another exciting indoor football tournament dubbed as “CFC Take the Challenge:Futsal Tournament” on July 28-29 at the Lapu-Lapu City Sports Center.
A total of 40 teams from different clubs here have already confirmed their entry. These include the University of San Carlos, Don Bosco Technology Center, San Roque, Real Cebu, Benthel Asia, Don Bosco United, Innodata, and FC Camellanz.

Featuring men and women’s division, the event is organized by the Camella Homeowners' Community Sports Club of Mactan led by Gerry Paglinawan and Alvin Mangubat along with FC Camellanz.
Formed two years ago, the group is sanctioned by the Pilipinas Futsal Association. It aims to promote futsal in the country and be able to produce national talents.
The two-day tilt is being held in association with Coca-Cola Bottling Company (PowerAde), the city government of Lapu-Lapu under the leadership of Mayor Paz Radaza and Maribago Bluewater Resort. — THE FREEMAN
