Amerol lands at top eight in Cebu City dartsfest

CEBU, Philippines - Jomar Amerol is the lone Cebuano player who made it to the top eight in the 4th Cebu City-M.Lhuillier Kwarta Padala National Darts Championships yesterday at Yayoy’s Grill and Resto Bar.

Amerol and Ryan Condat were at joint third and fourth with Chris Bayo of Bukidnon’s The One and Edward Sarto of Preston in the classified draw doubles event.

Amerol and Condat missed the championship round after losing to Dipolog’s Manolo Balucan and Butuan’s Marlon Cultura, 4-2.

Andy Villamor of Cagayan’s The One and Jerry Catacutan of Bais won the title after defeating Balucan and Cultura, 4-2.

Completing the top eight were Rex Alonso of Dipolog and Kit Ortigas on Mandaluyong, Bulabog’s Babin Ce and Dipolog’s Neil Drilon, Pasay’s Jorge Mediario and FDAMDI’s Jun Noynay and Cagayan’s Bert Lozano and Epoy Cequina. — (FREEMAN)
