3 Cebu City teams in dartsfest

CEBU, Philippines - Host Cebu City will be fielding three teams for the fixed 4-man team event of the 2012 Cebu City Mayor’s Cup-M. Lhuillier National Darts Open which is set to unfold tomorrow at Yayoy’s Grill and Resto-bar along Orchid Street, this city.

Team Cebu City Niños led by Bert Colong Jr. aims to dethrone the Federation of Dart Associations of Metro Davao Incorporated (FDAMDI) that they decided to have three squads.

Composing TCC-1 are Jomar Amerol, Rodmar Branzuela, Raniel Pedrosa and Alvin Villa.

Under TCC-2 are Wenie Ocanada, Jerome Perales, Frank Bejec and Rap-Rap Dalisay.

The third team for Cebu City will be manned by Reyden Colina, Caloy Narita, Steve Montenegro and Boy Campugan.

The Queen City of the South also has other bets for the other events.

Colong is confident that TCC will have better showing this time as darters had enough preparation for this event.

In fact, the composition of teams is based on the darters performance in the weekly events in the past five months.

Aside from the fixed 4-man team event, the three-day action will also include the men and ladies’ open, youth and seniors singles, fixed doubles, classified draw doubles and triples. — (FREEMAN)
