CEBU, Philippines - Josphat Too and Abraham Missos of Kenya topped their respective divisions in the 3rd Gullas Run at the South Coastal Road in Talisay City yesterday.
Too clocked in the best time of 32 minutes and 47.18 seconds to top the men’s 10-kilometer run. Robert Daang placed second in 35:46.75, while Riez Enriquez wound up third.
Missos lorded it over in the 5K class with the time of 16:16.53. Little-known Rony Andrin trailed Missos in 17:43.86, while Harold Estrada came out third in 17:59.73.
The 3K run for the local government unit saw Bernard Odilao unopposed. He completed the run in 19:06.36, while the boys class had Michael John Beboso on top in 13:34.39.
In the distaff side, the 10K crown went to Mary Jane Beboso with the time of 42:51.22. Jojielyn Mae Pepito finished second in 44:34.86 followed by Marichu Luterte in 45:07.01.
The Andrin sisters Jean and Lovely Fe posted a 1-2 finish in the 5K. Jean crossed the finish line in 21:05.28, while Lovely Fe clocked in 21:07.10. Babiemeryh Obrero took the third place honors in 24:01.36.
In the 5K media category , William Rama emerged the fastest in 24:42.58 followed by Allain Cortes (25:51.49) and Andreama Llerin (30:29.04).
In the girls 3K, the top three winners were Cherry Andrin, Kisha Manundo and Mica de la Cerna. (FREEMAN)
