CEBU, Philippines - The M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala-Cebu Niños hope to erase the sting of their heart-rending defeat to RDAK-Mandaue Cebu Landmasters in the Liga Pilipinas joust recently but they are in for another uphill battle as they will clash head-on with Air 21 Express in an exhibition match today at the Cebu Coliseum.

6 pm M. Lhuillier vs. Air 21
Game time is set at 6 pm.
In their last two hardcourt appearances, the Niños surprisingly got clobbered by the rejuvenated Cebu Landmasters that eventually deprived the M. Lhuillier-backed of the Cebu City leg title of Liga Pilipinas Conference V last week.
Whether or not the Niños are still hurting from that stunner will be known on how they will fare against the visiting PBA forces of which offensive core is anchored on Danny Seigle, Dorian Peña, Paul Artadi, Leo Avenido, Carlo Sharma and Joshua Urbiztondo.
The rest of the Air 21 crew include former UV Lancers stalwart Reed Friar Juntilla, Leo Najorda, Elmer Espiritu, Lou Gatumbato, Jay-R Reyes, and Alpha Bengura.
As usual, the Niños of team owner Michel J. Lhuillier and legendary coach Raul "Yayoy" D. Alcoseba will count the most from the likes of Bruce Dacia, Stephen Padilla, Froilan Baguion, Abby Santos, Ian Saladaga and Mark Ababon.
After the Niños, Air 21 will take on the Cebu Landmasters tomorrow at 6 pm at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex.
On June 1, the Niños will go up against the James Yap-led B-Meg Derby Ace at the Cebu Coliseum. The following day, it will be Mandaue's turn to play host to B-Meg at its hometurf.
Tickets for the M. Lhuillier-Air 21 duel are priced at P300 for ringside, P250 for the lower box, P100 for the upper box, and P50 the general admission. (FREEMAN)
