CEBU, Philippines - Cebu Equine Owners, Breeders and Sportsmen Association (CEOBSA) defended its title in the 4th Governor's Cup Horse Show and Competition National Open, which concluded the other day at the north reclamation area in Mandaue City.
After claiming five titles during the opening day, the CEOBSA ridersended their campaign with three more crowns in the obstacle race.
Francis Miñoza ruled the intermediate division after clocking in 1:08.04. He upstaged Derby Casinabe of Malaybalay Horsemen with the time of 1:10.51, while Jun Dumaquita came in third in 1:13.05.
CEOBSA's two other championships were courtesy of Alyssa Lawrence and Kyle Miole in the ladies and youth divisions, respectively.
Malaybalay's Earl Jan Ebora nailed the expert division plum with an impressive 1:05.71 clocking. Davao Horse Club's George Misa took the second place honors in 1:08.21 while CEOBSA's Mamart Mercado occupied the third place in 1:09.26. (FREEMAN NEWS)
