CEBU, Philippines - Former UV Lancer Dante Elim and Allan Cabral connived for 73 points as Lite Shipping demolished Aisle Marine, 118-84, to grab the solo lead with a clean 4-0 slate in the Lucio "Guy" Lim, Sr. Memorial Cup basketball tournament at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.
After a poor start, Lite Shipping managed to take a 28-22 lead at the end of the first period and then Elim and Cabral doubled their efforts to pad their lead to 52-42 at the turn.
Lite Shipping further pulled away only late in the third period, but not after allowing Aisle Marine to come closer to seven points, 54-61.
