CEBU, Philippines - For the second time when Mary Grace de los Santos was out, Mary Joy Tabal took the top spot even with the presence of other seasoned runners as she dominated St.Theresa’s College 2nd Move With Awareness, Involvement and Responsibility (AIR) Run at the STC grounds along General Maxilom Avenue, this city.
Tabal took advantage of the absence of De los Santos, who skip the event in favor of the GenSan leg of the 34th Milo National Marathon.
Tabal prevented Madelyn Carter from taking the crown she missed last year, while Mereeis Ramirez got the third place honors.
Simon Losiaboi topped the men’s division. Joel Delposo trailed Losiaboi as Joebert Carolino wound up third.
Philip Duenas’ decision to race in the 4K run came out fruitful as he won the top spot over Ian Bernido.
Joeyry Lee, for her part, outsmarted the multi-titled trackster Sheena Gacayan for the first place finish in the distaff side as Jade Marie Recto wound up third. (FREEMAN)
