CEBU, Philippines - After a series of postponements, John Reil Casimero, the current WBO interim light flyweight champion, will finally defend his belt on July 24 in Mazatlan, Mexico against Ramon Hirales Garcia as relayed by international matchmaker Sampson Lewkowicz to Sammy Gello-ani of SGG Sports Promotions.
Team Casimero is confident that inspite of the many postponements, Casimero remained focused on his training and is not affecting him physically and mentally.
Team Casimero is set to leave for the US on their way to Mazatlan, Mexico two weeks before the fight to continue his training in USA.
He will be accompanied by his trainers, Christopher Tepora and Danny Bactol, his manager, Bimboy Osorio and Neil Bryan Castillo, the son of the owner of IPI, and his Philippine promoter Sammy Gello-ani. – THE FREEMAN
