Y101 golf today

CEBU, Philippines - It’s an exciting day ahead for the Cebu golf community as the 4th Y101 Corporate Cup tees off at the Cebu Country Club with around 200 players or 50 teams participating.

Martha Tuason, chief executive officer of radio station Y101-FM, said that even if they wish to accept more entries, they have to limit the field to 200.

Entry fee has been pegged at P10,000 per team of four players and each participant will be getting a Philips GoGear 2GB and lots more, said Tuason.

Armscor, which is one of the major backers of the tournament, will be raffling off not less than 10 firearms and airsoft guns.

This will be a four-to-play, three-to-count format using the Modified Stableford Scoring System.

At stake for an ace are a Zong Shen motorcycle on hole number 3, P100,000 on hole number 5, and two roundtrip PAL ticket to Hong Kong plus $500 pocket money on the 13th.  – THE FREEMAN
