CEBU, Philippines - The crossover semifinals as well as the final matches of the 1st Sinulog Jiboren’s Cup Volleyball Open will be contested starting at 9 am today at the Pasil Sports Complex.
In the men’s division, strong title contender Dindo Salon Xclusivz led by RP Team member Jonrey Sasing will go up against the equally-tough University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF), while the University of San Carlos (USC) will take on John Patrick Caylo (JPC).
In the distaff side, the formidable USPF belles of coach Jordan Paca will face USC , while the Froilan squad will square off against Team Cebu City , which is composed of USPF high school players.
The winners will then slug it out for the championship.
Aside from trophies, the champion in this Jingle Cacas Leitz-sponsored tournament will pocket P15, 000, while the first runner-up will get P12, 000. The third and fourth placers will receive P7, 000 and P5, 000, respectively.
