Cebuano players see action in P5M Pacman dartsfest

CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu City Hall Employees Darts Association-Cebu City Niños hope to get the biggest slice of the cake as they start their bid in the P5-million Manny Pacquiao International Darts Classic today at the Lagao gym in General Santos City.

CHEDA, which is supported by Mayor Tomas Osmeña and vice mayor Michael Rama, fields in a total of 11 players led by Bert Colong, Jr.

Colong is joined by Angelito Badayos, Wenie Ocanada, Joe Marie Yap, Jun Bacalso, Arnulfo Apurado, Alan Veloso, Jerous Ponce, Jomar Amerol, and Marlito Patunob.

Another seasoned Cebuano darter Roy Laude, who bolted out of CHEDA, and William Encorporado will also try their luck in the four-day tournament.

Aside from gracing the affair, event sponsor and boxing superstar Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will also show his stuff in darts.—Caecent No-ot Magsumbol   (FREEMAN NEWS)
