CEBU, Philippines - Glenn Aguilar, one of the country’s most decorated motocross racers, promises to catch up with the lost time as he plunges back to battle in the 14th leg of the 2009 MS Motosuit Motocross Series dubbed as the “2nd Keiz BJ Motors Invitational Cup” today in Caduawan, Tabogon.
Aguilar, an image model of MS Motosuit, failed to join several legs due to pressing commitments and his presence had been sorely missed by fans as even if he is only a ‘guest rider’, he always give his all-out best everytime he competes.
Even the rest of the local riders, instead of getting intimidated, are happy if Aguilar is around because they learn new tricks and strategies each time the man they called “D’ King” is in town.
Aside from Aguilar who is now with the SEL-J squad, Keiz BJ Racing Team big boss and event host Siegfred Ornopia said that he is also expecting other riders from Manila to see action in the grueling race supported by Castrol Power One, Keiz BJ Motors, RMO, F&FOR, Kier Louie’s Motosuit Manufacturing, and MS Digital Prints.
Ornopia is doubly happy because the adrenaline-pumping race, which is being held to spice up the annual fiesta celebration of Caduawan, coincides with the birthday of his amiable wife Helen.
The fast-rising Paulo Inoc is as excited as Aguilar to race back in Cebu after he decided to move to Manila.
From the 11 regular categories, Ornopia, the reigning ‘Rider of the Year’, has added up four classes to make everybody happy.
After the Caduawan showdown, there’s practically no rest for the race organizers as MS Motosuit top honcho Lou Ornopia bared that the next two stops of the series will all be staged in November.
The 15th leg is slated on November 8 in Boljoon with Alexseus Celis of PowerSports Racing as the organizer, while the 16th leg is calendared on November 22 in Carcar. FREEMAN NEWS)
