CEBU, Philippines - Elmer Bartolo and Mary Grace de los Santos ruled the inaugural staging of the St.Theresa’s College’s Move with A.I.R Run along General Maxilom Avenue, this city.
Bartolo finished the five-kilometer race in 18 minutes and 32.80 seconds to claim the premiere men’s open title.
Joel Delposo came out second with a time of 18:46.92 while Ian Bernido landed third with 19:3.65.
Robert Daang ended at fourth spot in 20:24.63 followed by Jude Rivera in 21:06.70, while the sixth to 10th placers were Jesus Baarli (21:15.75), Allan Polinar (21:35.85), Raul James Zapico (21:57.83), James Janzel Noval (22:54.77) and Ruth Banzon (22:58.63).
In the distaff side, De los Santos scored back-to-back wins for this month here after crossing the finish first in 21:41.72 . Haziel Ritavalle to occupied the second place in 25:01.48.
Rounding up the top 10 cast in the women’s open were Gerly Rose Baylon (26:57.43), Pearl Angeli Templado (27:31.32), Ana Marie Cabahug (32:22.06), Florence Mata (33:31.90), Rosebelle Baldecieso (34:19.30), Rowena Duarte (35:21.32), Susana Militante (36:51.92) and Abbey Ponce (37:04.25).
In the executive class, Carlo Baguio won the top spot over Joseph Canete while the distaff side saw Milagrosa Pablo took away the first place honors against Amale Mendezona-Jopson. – THE FREEMAN
