Rich Media, in partnership with Sherilin Plastics of Jeremy Huang, staged a daring breakaway in the second period to mount a 39-26 lead at halftime. They sustained their sizzling offensive to post a 15-point advantage, 54-39, going into the final period.
Ex-CIT Wildcat Jazon Jae Estella powered Rich Media with 18 points followed by Glen Besanes with 12 points. Beboy Pontecioso and Huang finished with 11 markers apiece.
Jimbo Noel paced the Uptown Jaycees with 16 points. Dindo Sausa added 15, while Chris Sta. Maria and Franco Te connived for 24 points.
In the other game, the Mandaue Jaycees-Team B clobbered the undermanned Mandaue Jaycees-Team A.
