SCSIT to represent Cebu in National Open softball

CEBU, Philippines – The Salazar Colleges of Science and Institute of Technology (SCSIT) will represent Cebu anew in this year’s National Open Softball Championships in Pasig City from May 30 to June 5.

Last year, the Cebuanos were spread into different teams due to the limited number of national players allowed per squad.

This time around, the organizers decided to let a team field in as many former and current RP members they want.

SCSIT has three current RP mainstays in its roster namely Francisco Ramirez, Darios and Roldan Bacarisas. They will be joined by former national standouts in the likes of Rolly Bacarisas, Manuel Bacarisas and Zacky Bacarisas.

Zacky Bacarisas also inserted into the Cebu team one of his trained celebrities, Richard Gomez.

The rest of the topnotch batters who form part of the SCSIT delegation supported by Engr. Doroteo M. Salazar include Sherwin Fernandez, Sherwin Tabar, Genero Macayan, Jesser Casia, Marvin Ngujo, John Magno, Jackson Genolaga, Abrin Pautan, Alinton Adolfo and playing coach Zacarias “Isyot” Bacarisas. – Caecent No-ot Magsumbol – THE FREEMAN
