ADG took an early 20-13 lead behind the leadership of bull-strong center Kadong Paca and Ronald Libre, but they went ice-cold in the succeeding quarters.
In contrast, the Best Friends Forever suddenly came strong behind the solid defense anchored on ex-SWU Cobra Junard Ciabo and flashy offguard Inting Bacalla. They wrested the driver’s seat, 26-14, and then closed the first half with a 39-34 advantage.
