Six teams join Still Fighting hoopfest

CEBU - A total of six teams will see action in the 2008 Still Fighting Basketball Association (SFBA) season, which will kick off on October 5 at the CEC open court.

The organizers led by newly-elected SFBA president Tony Piloton decided to regroup in order to foster camaraderie and promote physical fitness among their members.

Among the highlights of the opening ceremony that will be graced by Cebu City Vice Mayor Michael L. Rama are the selection of best muse and best in unform.

The tournament is made possible through the efforts of Piloton and the rest of SFBA officers namely Dodong Edera (vice president), Roger Tan (treasurer), and Nestor Kyamko (secretary).

SFBA’s working staff include Bebot Batad, Fredo Espina, Chris Estrada, Edgar Atad, Mario Kue, Bugoy Unabia, Edgar Cabangbang, Jimmy Bongon, Renato Garcia, Ed Rosaroso and Ben Pitogo, while the group’s advisers are Ben Bongon, Doming Lopez and Bong Aznar. - GGM(THE FREEMAN)
