5th Avenue Telecom starts hot in M. Lhuillier Under-21 hoop

The 5th Avenue Telecom of coach Marvin Felicis stepped up bigtime when the game was on the line to upset the Mandaue City Stallions, 68-62, in the 6th M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala Under-21 Developmental Basketball League at the Consolacion Sports Complex.

It was a sorry loss for the Stallions of coach Eugenio Ruiz who were leading most of the way until 5th Avenue Telecom turned the tables on them in the final two-minute mark of the contest.

The Stallions enjoyed an early 20-13 lead and close the first half with an eight-point advantage, 36-28. The last time there were on top was at 61-60 as Talingting sank a bone-cracking triple - his lone output in the game - to change the complexion of the match in favor of 5th Avenue Telecom.

5th Avenue Telecom never looked back from there, sealing its come-from-behind triumph with a blistering 8-0 run.
