Lito Quebec dominated the latest action of this month’s Criterium Rider of the Month at the Willy’s Place in Busay, this city.
The third leg was not a criterium, but a climb, however, Quebec’s victory will still be counted in the overall standings for the monthly honors as decided by the organizers.
Quebec broke the heart of Jon Simbajon who was aching to win a leg for himself in this “by invitation” race.
John Ermitanio came third while William Pagula came out fourth while Rudy Mendoza was at fifth spot.
The other week, Simbajon missed the top spot as Celing Villarosa took it.
It was Villarosa’s second leg title this month as he also ruled the first leg after defeating July’s second best rider Loloy Berdun. — Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
