Jon-Jon Adlawan posted a double victory in the 1st Mayor Wilson Motocross Cup over the weekend in Liloan, Santander.
Adlawan ruled the premiere experts class and the intermediate open action.
He defeated the equally-aggressive Jovanni Abellar for the top post in the experts division as the daring Paulo Inoc came out third.
In the intermediate class, Adlawan left behind the returning Irwin Ramas-Uypitching, while Kent Canape was third.
John Flores, for his part, went home with the novice open title, beating Rex Barbaso and Ryan Alquisola.
Alquisola, however, turned the table around when he bagged the beginner’s open crown, relegating Flores to third place. Andrew Canlas finished second.
The other Alquisola, Renan, dominated the mini class over Martin Nunez and Canape.
Seigfred Ornopia stole part of the limelight by reigning supreme in the veterans B class. He triumphed over Joy Jocson and Nonoy Reluya. The proprietor of Keiz BZ Motorsales also had a second place finish in the veterans A won by Aloy Igot.
Butch Flores lorded it over in the open enduro contest, while Nunez and Luisito Antiquardo settled for second and third, respectively.
Nunez though still has something to cheer about as he grabbed the 125 enduro crown over Butch Flores and Canape in the one-day race supported by MS Motosuit and organized by Power Sports Racing.—Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
