The 1st Carcar City Motocross Challenge kicks off this Sunday at Villa Anonong in Carcar.
The event serves as the 10th leg of the 2007 MS Motosuit Motocross Series. At this time of year, riders usually compete harder to earn points to solidify their 2007 rankings and prepare for 2008 races.
With Glenn “D King” Aguilar, the MS Motosuit image model, promising to compete, motocross enthusiasts are expected to swarm the racetrack.
Aguilar is eager to get back into action after missing the last leg due to some prior commitments in Manila.
Aside from the leg champion, the best riders are poised to receive awards from the organizers.
Lou Ornopia, the 2007 SAC-SMC All-Cebu Sports Awards Sportsman of the Year, organized the race.—Caecent No-ot Magsumbol
