The 7th Island Tee, the signature tournament of Mactan Island Golf Club, is set from November 8 to 11 at their course inside the Mactan Benito Ebuen Air Base in Lapu-Lapu City.
Retired General Rodante S. Joya, told The Freeman, that teams will only play 18 holes and can choose what day they would play within the tournament schedule.
Tee off time is from 5:45 a.m. t0 12:15 p.m.
Entry fee for the event is pegged at P2,500 per player and this entitles the participant to the giveaways and other perks for players. The registration fee also includes the caddy fee.
At stake for a hole-in-one will be a Kia Carens, a motorcycle, a residential lot, a Honma golf set, and others that would be announced later.
Teams can either be composed of a member and a guest, two members or two guests and the Modified Stableford Scoring System will be used.
Participants will be classified under classes A (0-12), B (13-19), C1 (20-24), C2 (25 and up), and Seniors (both players should be 61 years old and above).
There will be prizes for the overall champion, which is the team with the most points, and the top three finishers for the five categories.
The awards ceremony will be held on November 11 at the Casino Filipino Mactan. — NLQ
