Jonan Pongasi became the rider to beat for the Road Cyclist of the Month after leading the series with 36 points after the last action over the weekend at the Mandaue City reclamation area.
Pongasi of Rut Machine Shop landed only at fifth place in the latest battle won by Jerome Belhida, but compiled enough points to stay on top of the heap.
Jojo Juezan trailed Pongasi with 31 points, while Belhida occupied the third spot with 30 points.
Boy Pagnanawon is at fourth with 25 points followed by Aly John Calamayo and Lyndyl Caraquel with 21 points apiece.
In the team overall classification, Gwapings is top with 66 points followed by Kalit with 60 points.
Rut Machine Shop is at third place with 50 points, while Spark Kleen and Social Climbers are at fourth and fifth with 28 and 20 points, respectively.
