Members of the Aznar family led by Matias ‘Bombi’ Aznar III, chairman of the board of AVGCC, will be hitting the ceremonial drives this 10 a.m.
Others scheduled to drive ceremonial balls are Victor Sierra, Andrew Aznar, lawyers Mat Jo and Tito Pintor, and Rolly Santos.
The Aznar Cup is a two-day, 18-hole contest using the strokeplay format.
There will be prizes for the overall lowest gross and the top three players based on net scores for six categories - classes A, B and C for the men, plus the ladies, seniors, and guests division.
At stake for a hole-in-one will be a residential lot from Sta. Lucia Realty and Development Inc. on hole No. 8, a club share from Aznar Brothers Realty on hole No. 15, P50,000 from AVGCC on holes No. 6 and 13, and a Skygo motorcycle for all 5 par-3 holes.
In case more than one player will score an ace on a particular hole, the prizes shall be equally shared.
