Tadena topbills Dalaguete boxing on February 4

Boxing fans in the municipality of Dalaguete will be treated to an explosive ring action on February 4 at the Dalaguete Sports Complex.

In the main attraction, Arnel Tadena of SGG Stable will take on Rolando Toyogon of Butuan City's Virgo Stable.

Toyogon is no less than an acid test for Tadena owing to the Mindanao brawler's vast experience and maturity.

Toyogon holds a 22-20-3 win-loss-draw record dotted with 5KOs, while Tadena pales in comparison, having fought only six pro fights, so far, winning five of them.

In the chief support bout, Glen Masicampo of Tagbilaran City will take on veteran warrior Edward Escriber of Engr. Canoy Stable of Cagayan de Oro City.

Like his paisano, Masicampo, who split his six pro bouts, faces a harrowing mission against Escriber, a former RP champion who parades a 21-16-4 win-loss-ledger packed with 10KOs.

The rest of the fighters seeing action in the preliminaries are Cris Alag vs. Jaime Acerda, Jun "Flash Mongo" Intor vs. Dave Cris, and ALA Stable's Rasheid Bacus, who will clash with the debuting Ronie Dumaran of Cagayan de Oro City.
