The PTA North dumped the Carpool, 83-65, while the Boys High Faculty edged the USC-ADEA, 71-67.
The victory gave the PTA North a 2-2 win-loss record in a tie with its victim, while the Boys High Faculty chalked up its first win in four starts. The USC-ADEA further crashed down the cellar with a woeful 0-5 win-loss card.
Games will resume on Saturday and Sunday at the regular venue, which is the USC South Campus covered court along J. Alcantara street in Private.
The finals will be on February 19 in conjunction with the USC-BED SC Family Day. The trophies for the top three winnners will be donated by Sirlitz Electronics Shop owned by Lito S. Gillamac, Jr.
