ACES splits assignments in Dumaguete City

The visiting Athletes for Christ in Excellent Service (ACES), mentored by ex-pro Al Solis of UV and Tribu Sugbu, split their two-day goodwill games over the weekend at the Silliman University in Dumaguete City.

The ACES won in their debut over the Dumaguete Selection, 80-72, but lost the next day to the Joshiyuki Commercial team, 88-83.

Solis, who played in the second day when the ACES lost, said that "kung naay team Tribu Sugbu, naa say Tribu sa Ginoo".

He did not accompany the team to Hilongos, Leyte because according to him serving God is more important. His team went 1-1 in Dumaguete.

Solis brough along with him some players from UV, USJ-R, USPF, SWU and CDC, who are members of the LWCM.
