CEBU, Philippines - At least 20 packs of suspected shabu were confiscated from an alleged drug pusher who was arrested in Barangay T. Padilla, Cebu City yesterday morning.
Raul Cabrera, 52, was apprehended by virtue of search warrant issued by Judge Soliver Peras of the Regional Trial Court Branch 10.
Chief Inspector Ryan Devaras, chief of Parian Police Station, said they subjected Cabrera to three-week surveillance prior to the operation.
They earlier received information that the suspect was engaged in selling illegal drugs in the area.
According to Devaras, most of Cabrera’s customers include students and employees.
Cabrera, a former jeepney driver, admitted to resorting to selling illegal drugs due to financial constraints.
The suspect is now detained and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. — (FREEMAN)
