CEBU, Philippines - A 24-year-old tattoo artist was arrested for allegedly selling shabu in Barangay Pugalo, Alcoy on Monday about 7:00 in the evening.
Eric Palomo, an Akhro member, of A. Lopez, Cebu City was arrested by the Alcoy police in Barangay Pugalo during a buy-bust operation. Confiscated from him were 16 small packets of shabu worth P8,000.
Based on intelligence reports, Palomo had been selling shabu in Alcoy for more than two weeks before a buy-bust operation was hatched.
Palomo was onboard a bus from Cebu City and disembarked at the town of Dalaguete. He then took a tricycle ride for Pugalo.
The police asset who was monitoring Palomo met him at a corner and bought a pack of shabu for P500. Just as the transaction was completed, he was handcuffed.
“Gikan pa gyud ni siya sa siyudad ubay-ubay pa gyud ug dala nisugot gani nga nihangyo mi og buy one take one,” said Insp. Reyco Romaguera, chief of the Alcoy Police Station.
Since Palomo is new in the business, police could not say how much he has been disposing in a week.
