CEBU, Philippines - The Trade Union Congress Party (TUCP Party-List) bared their list of projects for Cebu to dispute allegations that they did not allocate projects from their Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF).
Cebuano TUCP Rep. Raymond Mendoza said worth P15 million in infrastructure projects are currently on-going in Cebu and sourced from their PDAF.
These projects includes ten road construction and rehabilitation projects in the barangays of Poblacion, Yati, Jubay, and Catarman in Liloan; Subangdaku, Pakna-an, and Tabok in Mandaue City; and Casili, Tayud, and Pulpogan in Consolacion.
Ambulances were previously provided to barangay Subangdaku in Mandaue and for each of the municipalities of Liloan and Compostela. Consolacion opted to have four multicabs. Another P500,000.00 was allocated for Minglanilla town as financial assistance.
Mendoza assured that Cebu is in their priority list for PDAF allocations despite TUCP having national constituency.
“While it is true that TUCP also has significant constituencies in other provinces, Cebu is home. It is only right that TUCP contributes to the development efforts of the Province”, emphasized Mendoza.
The Partylist priority programs includes workers education, vocational and technical skills training; health and consumer protection. — (FREEMAN)
