CEBU, Philippines - Due to faulty electrical wirings, a house was partly burned in barangay Cogon, Cordova Cebu last Saturday morning.
According to Cordova Police Station Desk Officer PO2 Robillo Librado, the house was owned by a certain Christine Mae Casqueja, 27 years old.
Casqueja was not in her house during the incident.
The blaze broke out at around 10:40 a.m. It started in the bedroom portion of the house and fortunately was not able to spread to other parts of the area.
Librado said that Benjo Casqueja, brother of the owner, was the only one left in the house when the incident happened. Neighbors helped Benjo put out the fire.
Personnel from the Cordova Fire Station also rushed to the scene.
No one was hurt and the damage was pegged at P50,000. — (FREEMAN)
