CEBU, Philippines - In celebration of the Sinulog grand parade today, the City Traffic Operations Management and the Traffic Patrol Group announced that rerouting in the streets along and around the carousel route will be in place as early as 4 a.m.
The Sinulog Grand Parade will start from New Imus Road, go straight to M.J. Cuenco Ave., turn left to Gen. Maxilom Ave., proceed to Fuente Osmeña. Turn left to Osmeña Blvd., all the way down to Cebu City Sports Center, right turn to R. Landon St., left turn to the gate of Cebu City Sports Center passing the Sinulog Grandstand and to the Exit Hate at P/ del Rosario St. side, then turn right to N. Bacalso Ave., then U-turn in front of Cebu South Terminal, straight to P. del Rosario St., and follow back to New Imus Road.
Public Utility Jeepneys from Pit-os/Talamban shall follow to Gov. Cuenco Ave., then left to Juan Luna Ave., right turn to S. Osmeña Blvd., right turn to V. Sotto St., right turn to M..J. Cuenco Ave., right turn to T. Padilla St., left turn to S. Osmeña Ave., left turn to Juan Luna Ave., right turn to Gov. Cuenco Ave., then to their prior point of origin.
PUJs coming from Lahug shall follow to Gorordo Ave., then turn left to P. Calomarde St., right turn to Acacia St., right turn to Arch. Reyes Ave., right turn to Gorordo Ave., then back to their point of origin.
All passenger jeepney with Route Nos. 21B and 22B shall follow Cebu City North Road, straight to M.J. Cuenco Ave., turn right to Mactan Road, then proceed to Leyte Loop, right turn to Cardinal Rosales Ave., right turn to Juan Luna Ave., left turn to M.J. Cuenco Ave., then to their point of origin.
PUJs coming from Mabolo shall proceed to Juan Luna Ave., right turn to A. Soriano Ave., left turn to Gen. Maxilom Ave., right turn to D. Gaisano St., right turn to T. Padilla St., left turn to M.J Cuenco Ave., right turn to V. Gullas St., left turn to P. Burgos St., left turn to Urdaneta St., left turn to Lapu-Lapu St., right turn to Jereza St., left turn to M.J. Cuenco Ave., right turn to T. Padilla St., left turn to Benedicto St., to J. de Veyra St., left turn to Juan Luna Ave., then to their prior point of origin.

PUJs with Route No. 09C, 09F, 10C, 10D, 10O, and 11D while traversing along N. Bacalso St., shall turn right to V. Rama Ext., right turn to Tres de Abril St., left turn to N. Bacalso Ave., to their usual route, then to their point of origin.
PUJs from Urgello and USC Girls High (Private) shall follow Alcantara St., left turn V. Rama Ave., left turn Tres de Abril St., right turn to Lakandula St., right turn to C. Padilla St., right turn to T. Abella St., follow to V. Rama Ave., left turn to Tres de Abril St., right turn to N. Bacalso Ave., left turn to V. Rama Ave., right turn to Alcantara St., then to their point of origin.
PUJs with Roue No. 02B from Pier Area shall follow to Sanciangko St., left turn to Panganiban St., to their usual route, then to their point of destination.
PUJs from Labangon with Route Nos. 12A, 12B, 12C, 12D, 12F and 12M shall follow to Tres de Abril St., right turn to Carlock St., left turn to B. Aranas St., right turn to Lakandula St., right turn to C. Padilla St., right turn to Carlock St., left turn to Tres de Abril St., left turn to N. Bacalso Ave., then to their point of origin.
Trucks, vans, trailers and other motor vehicles coming from the South going to SM or to North Area shall follow N. Bacalso Ave., right turn to Mambaling Trunk Road to SRP, left turn to SRP Coastal Road, passing the tunnel, then to exit at Serging Osmeña Blvd., then to the North Reclamation Area.
Trucks, vans, trailers and other motor vehicles coming from the North Reclamation Area going to the South are advised to pass along Serging Osmeña Blvd., passing the tunnel, to SRP, then to their point of Destination.
All motor vehicles coming from Tabunok, Talisay, Minglanilla, Naga, San Fernando and Carcar who wishes to go the North Reclamation Area are advised to pass at SRP Coastal Road, passing the tunnel, then to their destination.
Private vehicles coming from the South going to Capitol, Lahug and Uptown area shall follow to N. Bacalso Ave., left turn to F. Llamas St., right turn to Katipunan St., left turn to Duterte St., then to their point of destination.
PUJs coming from North Bus Terminal with Route No. 10H shall follow to A. Soriano Ave., left turn to Juan Luna Ave., to access road, right turn to A. Soriano Ave., left turn to Gen Maxilom Ext., right turn to D. Gaisano St., right turn to T. Padilla St., left turn to M.J. Cuenco Ave., right turn to V. Gullas St., then to their point of origin.
Public Utility Vehicles such as Buses/Mini-buses, PUJs and V-hires coming from South shall follow N. Bacalso Ave., right turn to Mambaling Trunk Road going to SRP, then to the space provided as Temporary Terminal at SRP.
Private vehicles coming from the north going to Capitol/uptown while traversing along M.J Cuenco Ave, may turn right to Juan Luna Ave., left turn to Gorordo Ave., right turn to M. Gaisano St. or N. Escario St., then to their point of destination.
Motorist, drivers and other road users are advised to follow the traffic signs installed on the rerouting areas. (FREEMAN)
