CEBU, Philippines - Police arrested a 19-year-old man for selling shabu at Zone 3 in barangay Mantuyong, Mandaue City yesterday dawn.
Rodel Ouano was arrested after handling over two packs of shabu to a poseur buyer and accepting marked money.
Ouano said he turned to selling illegal drugs after his father left his mother for another woman.
When frisked, the police also found more shabu in his possession.
Insp. Gerardo Fiel, deputy of Centro police station said his office shadowed Ouano for two weeks after learning about his activity from a tipster.
Fiel said when it was confirmed Ouano was engaged in illegal drugs, a buy-bust operation was immediately set in motion.
Ouano told police he gets his supply of shabu from a neighbor.
He is presently detained at the Mandaue City police station 1 while charges are being readied. (FREEMAN)
