5 ambassadors to visit Mandaue

CEBU, Philippines - Five ambassadors and two embassy officials from different countries will visit Mandaue City to attend the program of the 41st City Charter Day anniversary and business forum on August 30.

Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes will lead city officials and department heads in welcoming the visiting ambassadors.

The Mandaue City Public Information Office informed The FREEMAN that the expected Very Important Persons include His Excellency Sereythonh and his wife Mme. Chan Sinhean of Cambodia; His Excellency Kristiarto S. Legowo and his wife Mme. Caecillas S. Legowo of Indonesia; His Excellency Mohsin Razl and his son Haider Razl of Pakistan; Deputy Head of Mission Pham Hao of Vietnam; Charge of Affaires, a.l. Mr. Manuel Perez Iturbe and his wife Silvia Gonzales Laero of Venezuela; His Excellency Nawalage Bennet Cooray and his wife L.D. Jayawathie and Councellor Sirimewan Dawulagala of Sri Lanka and His Excellency Wadee Al-Batti and his wife Hanna Al-Batt of Irag.

 Aside from attending the program during the Mandaue City Charter Day celebration, the visiting ambassadors will attend the Business Forum at the Cebu International Convention Center.

The following day, August 31, the ambassadors will attend a tree planting activity at Eco Park and later will visit the different business and industrial establishments in Mandaue. (FREEMAN)
